He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart.

Bright Little Lambs was inspired and created to provide quality developmentally ready preschool education.  Our mission is to prepare and educate little ones for a lifetime of learning.

Julie Marling is an experienced educator. She graduated in 2006 with a Masters in Education.  She has more than a decade of classroom experience teaching preschool, Kindergarten, and First grade. She has taught in both public and private educational settings.  Most importantly, she is a mom to a busy toddler and believes that education starts early.  She plans on furthering her education with early childhood classes. Julie recently became affiliated with the National Association for Education of Young Children to better her skills as a preschool educator.

Julie wanted a rich curriculum that explores the world both biblically and academically. Bright Little Lambs brings God's word to a preschool world. We are non- denominational. We believe the Bible to be the inspired word of God.  Our lessons will explore the Bible and God's love through engaging stories, crafts, music, and props.

A child's first introduction to education should be a fun, nurturing environment that encourages exploration with a variety of different learning styles. Julie has researched a variety of curriculums and only implements ones where children can learn by doing.  Children need many opportunities to explore.  Bright Little Lamb's activities aligned with the best practices can foster creativity and promote cognitive and physical development. It can also build self esteem and an enthusiasm for learning.

Low-quality child care can have lasting impact- A Federal Funded Study Concluded:
The researchers previously reported that toddlers who received higher-quality care had fewer behavior problems than those receiving lower-quality care. The type of care, whether it was inside or outside the home, did not seem to matter, although day-care centers appeared to be related to more acting out among first- and third-graders. Kids who received high-quality care scored better on tests measuring math, reading and other cognitive skills throughout elementary school.
